The language of emotions

Nature's emotionsThere is nothing more powerful than positive emotions. Unfortunately, we got used to the language of thoughts and words. We feel that we have to analyze every action with them. The danger is that the language of thoughts is the language of the ego or conscious mind. It has a limited view of life. It cannot see the whole picture, only what he thinks is possible to get in the present moment. That’s why the conscious doesn’t like long-term goals or dreams, because it seems too complicated to achieve. It only knows what is going to happen now, not tomorrow, so the ego doesn’t want to take that responsibility because of fear of failure.

Long-term goals include a satisfying career, a prosperous economic situation, a creative life, etc…. However, as a consequence of using the language of thoughts (or what the ego considers is the most likely to happen) we constantly find ourselves leaving our dreams behind because it doesn’t seem logical.

We don’t see how we can achieve our dreams in this moment, so we end up accepting only what the conscious understands is possible instead of creating and pursuing our dreams.

Emotions offer a very different perspective. If it feels good, it is good. It’s as simple as that. Note I didn’t say if we think, or if it is a smart idea, then it is good. When we act as a result of any positive emotion, we don’t fear whether that looks difficult or not, we don’t interfere with what we are pursuing, we just act!

Let intuition or inspiration be your guide. It is a totally different approach, the one that successful and creative people use.

Earl Nightingale put it  this way “The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment.”

What about if you are afraid of your own dreams? That is likely to happen because as I said before, if it looks unreachable to the ego to attain in the present moment, then it will turn that goal into a negative feeling. The solution is simple, just apply The Cleaning Process until thinking about that goal feels good again.
